I agree with Frank. I also like it because of its immediacy. I feel I could be in his barber shop waiting for him to come back. I love that aspect of a well written haiku.

There is a glimpse here of the sort of street that doesn't exist much any more. Where shops are privately owned and each keeper knows the next. It reminds me of my childhood. Thanks for that!
