I think many of us can exchange intimate moments where for whatever reason, we are 'still enough' for a bird to trust us.

This is one of the great things about haiku: it can share 'universality' within a 'hands width'; it isn't just restricted to one type of person in any one kind of situation.

Works very well as one line.

I almost picture the railings as underlining the entire scene. (if that makes any sense - I can't quite word what I mean)
